The cemetery was started in the early 1800's, officially organized in 1883, and continues to operate today. There are over 2000 graves in the cemetery.

The Cemetery can be located on Route 127, 2 miles south of the junction of Routes 127 and 48 in Raymond, Illinois, just south of the Nokomis road.
